Like most in our industry, Global Web Finishing has had a difficult time through the recent past. We believe we understand the changed dynamics of our industry segment and have adapted our business model based on our customers’ requests and economic concerns going forward.

Aside from being strictly O.E.M. supply, GWF will do our absolute best to provide this industry with other interesting purchase options.

GWF believes we’re the first in our business to formally offer these unique solutions to customers.

1. “Re-engineering”
   
   GWF will mechanically and/or electronically “re-engineer” most pre-owned web finishing machinery existing in your plant. We will do the same for pre-owned equipment that you have newly purchased and wish to integrate.
   
   GWF will work with your situational needs based on budget, performance or machine utilization requirements. “GWF re-engineering” can be completed down to machine color, or sometimes even print repeat change.

            “GWF re-engineering” often includes:

• Complete Engineering required to relocate machines, create web paths in and out, and physically install
• Mechanical Rebuild/Reconfiguration of pre owned and supplied or previously existing in house machinery to any budget level
• Electronics/Controls Rebuild/Reconfiguration of pre-owned and supplied or previously existing in house machinery
• Independent cut off and registration controls for all new GWF “tool” equipment or as retrofit to many existing components/systems
• Shaft Driven, Common Independent or Completely Independent Drive Systems, custom engineered and installed
• Interface to Existing O.E.M. Press Control Platform and Safety Compliance or machine guarding retrofits

2. “Advanced existing designs”
   
   GWF offers “like” designs of your in-house/existing machines. GWF will design using onsite “measurement engineering” of non-proprietary machines and include your design additions or functional improvements.

3. “Custom design engineering”
   
   GWF will purpose build for your business, specialized “one off” systems or components directed by your ideas. GWF will use our extensive experience to ensure a sure thing from a customized design before anyone including GWF takes ANY UNADVISED RISK.

4. “Component blending” at customer request
   
   GWF will search for, acquire and “re-engineer” pre-owned machines to fit with new GWF machines forming complete web finishing systems.

5. “Convertible designs”
   
   GWF’s next generation web finishing systems with “convertible” platform designs are suitable to finish short run jobs supplied from any/all print engines individually or in combination. You’ll never outgrow or lock in to a dated web finishing platform.
